Two years again.  Pertaining the comic, lack of doing anything is because frankly I DON'T KNOW what comes next.  I have had ideas, but they all come to nothing. Can't work them into a story of some sort.  In a way, it feels kind of complete as it is... at least as an arc.  Still don't know who the guys in the train yard are, but I think I will eventually.  Frankly, I'm not sure of anybody but the cat.  As far as art in general is concerned, I found life so disconcerting and distracting in the last couple of years, with nothing assured and everything sliding under my feet like a great oil slick, like an idiot I stop creating to focus on my b

It's been a little over two years since I posted Prelude, the first chapter of Kitty Kitty.  I started The second chapter, Ronde, several times, sometimes scrapping it in the writing stage, sometimes getting as far as having a page half drawn before realizing I had no ideas for what happens next. After about a year of no ideas I finally got bored with it and set it aside for a good while.  Anyway, lately I've decided to start Ronde two years after Prelude ends.  That's it.  It's enough to start an outline on, anyway. And the wheels creep back into motion, like a heavily laden freight train. (God, I hope it's heavily laden and not just rust).

Ah... nothing like airing out the old summer blog after a long winter of busted computer.  Now I have everything up and going and I trying to remember how the wacom tablet works.  Only took me a couple weeks to figure it out.   Being offline so long made me rather nostalgic for the pre computer way of doing art.   I spent all of my youth learning that stuff, only to have it become 75% obsolete.  Even my trad stuff needs computer knowledge to send it and sell it.  I was beginning to fantasize about an island where everything is done like it was when I was 15. It really made me miss doing it - so I decided to make a Christmas card with waterc
